Christmas for Cranford Shop!

Katherine Halliday, also know as KA to many, is a woman on a mission when it comes to supporting the Holly Trail, having had two of her houses in past Trails and decorated another two. This year KA and her friend Lynette MacLauchlan (also a past Trail homeowner), have a grand plan to create a one-off ‘Christmas for Cranford Shop’ for the Holly Trail 2024.

Their Christmas for Cranford Shop will be located at one of this year’s homes, alongside Caroline Davis’ amazing Plants & Preserves and the Lions Book stall.

They hope Holly Trailers will be inspired for Christmas with their beautiful and practical, recycled and reimagined creations, which will include wreaths made from the shaken and fallen trees from Cyclone Gabrielle, reusable wrapping, decorations, festive homewares, games and presents for all ages.

“We want to create unique Christmas present ideas for a special friend, a teacher, or someone you want to thank for their kindness, along with all sorts of delights to ‘deck your halls’ for Christmas,” says Katherine.

The vast majority of materials being used have been donated, found and foraged.

“The best part is that 100% of all proceeds will go to the Holly Trail and be passed to Cranford Hospice.”

Each item will tell a story and be made with a lot of love, says Katherine.

“We hope Trailers will love the shopping experience at such a wonderful event and special time of year.”
