How much do tickets cost?

$135 each

When will tickets go on sale?

Tickets will be sold on this website only from 9am Wednesday 1st June 2022.

How quickly will tickets sell out?

There is a limited number of tickets available, and in previous years they have sold out very quickly. To avoid disappointment, we recommend you try to purchase tickets as early as possible.

Do you have a ticket stand-by list if I miss out on buying a ticket?

As we have a no refunds policy, we do not hold any stand-by list for tickets that may come available if the event sells out.

Is there a limit on how many tickets I can buy?


Can I make a donation to Cranford Hospice when I purchase my tickets?

Yes. When you purchase your tickets there is an option to donate. We can issue you with a tax receipt in the name of the ticket purchaser if required – please request this in the comments box when entering your donation amount.

Will I be charged a credit card fee?

Yes, there is a charge of 2.9% per transaction to cover the credit card fee.

I don’t want to pay via credit card – do you offer an alternative payment option?

Yes, you can pay via bank transfer. Once you’ve placed your order you will receive an email with payment instructions. Your order will be on hold until the funds have cleared in our account.

What if I purchase tickets online but I but don’t receive an order confirmation email?

Before contacting us, please check your Junk and Spam folders for the email. If the order confirmation is not in your Inbox, Junk or Spam folder within 30 minutes of placing your order, please email info@hollytrail.co.nz

When will my tickets arrive?

The tickets will be dispatched the week beginning 10th October 2022.

What if my ticket hasn’t arrived?

If you have not received your ticket in the post (the address that you filled in when you purchased the tickets online) by Tuesday 25th October 2022, please email info@hollytrail.co.nz

Is the programme booklet my ticket?

Yes. Please ensure you carry your programme with you to ALL venues. No programme, no entry. At each venue your visit will be marked off on the programme. You are only able to enter each venue once (except for the Lunch Venue). Please write your name and mobile phone number in the space provided on the programme.

What should I do if I lose/mislay my ticket/programme?

I’m no longer able to attend the Holly Trail – can I get a refund?

No. If the ticket holder is not able to attend the event for any reason, there will be no refunds given. The ticket purchaser agrees to this as a condition of the ticket sale and no correspondence will be entered into. You are welcome to give or sell your ticket to another person.

How will I find out if the Holly Trail has been cancelled?

We will contact all those who purchased tickets via email.

Can I get a refund if the event is cancelled for any reason?

Yes. The ticket purchaser will be refunded for all tickets purchased, less a $35 administration fee per ticket.

Will the event still go ahead if it’s raining?

If the weather is inclement, we suggest you pop an umbrella in the car or check the weather forecast and perhaps consider changing the days you attend the Trail.

Are the venues accessible?

Many venues have very limited wheelchair access. Also, some venues are located a short distance from parking, therefore you will need to be prepared to walk to each venue from your car.

Will I need a car to drive between each venue?

Yes. The venues are all located driving distance from each other, so you will definitely need a car to travel between each venue.

Is there parking available at each venue?

Yes, but parking for some venues does require a short walk to the venue, so you will need to be prepared to walk.

Do I need to take my shoes off at each venue?

Yes. Shoes must be removed and carried inside each venue. We recommend you wear shoes that can easily be slipped on and off and bring an environmentally-friendly bag to carry your shoes.

What times do the venues open and close?

Venues are open from 9:30am – 4:30pm on each day of the Holly Trail, unless indicated in your programme.

Can I bring my baby/child, even if my baby/child is in a front pack or pram?

No children or babies are admitted, under any circumstances.

Can I take food and drink to the venues?

Please do not consume food or drink at any of the homes/venues. We will have a Lunch Venue, and there are many cafes to enjoy refreshments in Havelock North and surrounding areas.

Can I take photographs?

No. Photography of any kind is not allowed, inside or outside, including from cameras, mobile phones, or drones.

Can I bring my pet?

No animals are allowed, inside or outside, no exceptions – including the Lunch Venue.

Can I smoke?

No. Smoking is not permitted at any venue, inside or outside, including e-cigarettes and vapes.

Where are toilets located?

Toilet facilities are indicated on the map in the programmes.
